Yu Chang hits Durham bull sign with HR, wins free steak (Video)

Durham Bull sign, Sounds vs. Bulls, 5/9/2024
In minor league baseball action, Durham Bulls shortstop Yu Chang hit the famous bull sign with a home run ball and won a free steak during Tuesday's Triple-A game against Nashville.

It happened in the bottom of the third inning with two outs and nobody on as Nashville held a 4-3 lead. On the 1-1 pitch, Chang crushed the ball towards left field, hitting the bull sign above the left field wall and activating the trademark red eyes, snort and wagging tail.

This is the third version of the bull sign and has been in place since 2008. The original sign was used in the movie Bull Durham in the late 1980s.

It was Chang's first home run of the year, tying the game at 4-4. Chang finished the game 1-for-4 with 2 walks, but the Sounds won the game 9-8 in 10 innings.
