A fan ran onto the field and caused a brief interruption during Wednesday night's Los Angeles Dodgers game against the New York Mets.
It happened in the top of the eighth inning with one out and nobody on as the Mets led the game 6-0. The fan found his way into center field and appeared to have solid speed, even after losing one of his shoes. However, despite being faster than the security guards chasing him, he was outnumbered as he ran towards the Dodgers bullpen in left field. The fan was eventually surrounded and taken down by security.

We do not condone fans running onto field at sporting events. Not only is this a safety issue for the players, but also for the streakers themselves. This man is lucky he did not get tased.
The game resumed once the fan was removed from the field, and the Mets beat the Dodgers 6-1.
