Minor League Hockey Coach Goes Topless During Bench Tirade

Now here's something you don't usually see at a hockey game...and by that, I mean, here's something you NEVER see at a hockey game.  This past Saturday night, Colorado Eagles assistant coach Greg Pankewicz got a little upset during their CHL game against the Mississippi River Kings:
In the third period, one of the Eagles was roughed up by a linesman during an escalating brawl on the ice. Pankewicz was enraged by the official's behavior, and began vehemently arguing from the Colorado bench: yelling, screaming, tossing things on the ice.
Then, as a last resort, Pankewicz did something we can't recall ever seeing a coach do while arguing with an official: He hurled his tie, his shirt and his undershirt in frustration, before being sent to the dressing room shirtless.
Apparently Pankewicz was trying to deliver a message, and it may have been justified, but unfortunately the translation gets lost just a little bit once he goes topless.

It's too bad, because Pankewicz had a great career as a player for the Colorado Eagles, retiring in 2009 as the team captain after becoming the team's all-time leading goal scorer.  Now he's going to have to live with this video going viral.  Just hope he's not planning on looking for a new job anytime soon.
