San Francisco Giants starter Matt Cain pitched the 22nd perfect game in major league history Wednesday night, including 14 strikeouts, during a 10-0 victory over the Houston Astros.
Cain got Astros pinch hitter Jason Castro to ground out to third base for the final out. Cain's 125-pitch outing was the first perfect game in Giants franchise history, which covers 130 years and includes time spent in New York.
