Olympic flag mixup delays North Korean women's soccer match (Video)

The start of Wednesday's Olympics preliminary round women's soccer match between North Korea and Colombia was delayed for 65 minutes when the flag of South Korea was being shown on the scoreboard at the Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow, Scotland.

Both teams were lined up in the tunnel, but the North Korean team refused to take the field until the correct flag was displayed.

The embarrassing flag mix-up left the organizing committee for the London 2012 Olympics apologizing to the team and to the National Olympic Association of North Korea.  According to NBC, they say that "steps have been taken to ensure the same mistake doesn't happen again".  In other words, someone probably got fired for this.

Not a good way to start the games.  Let's hope things get better from here.
