Tim Lincecum forgets number of outs against Phillies (Video)

San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum became the latest major league baseball player to be caught forgetting the number of outs in an inning during Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

In the bottom of the third inning with one out, Lincecum made a nice backhand play to field a grounder from Phillies batter Vance Worley, but then he started walking towards the dugout thinking the inning was over. After realizing there were only two outs, Lincecum turned around and took his "walk of shame" back to the mound.

The Philadelphia crowd had a good laugh, and even Lincecum couldn't help but chuckle at himself. Of course, that's easy to do when a play like that doesn't cost you a run.
