Romanian soccer goalkeeper whiffs on back pass from teammate, concedes own goal (Video)

In a Romanian second division soccer match Tuesday night, CSM Ramnicu Valcea goalkeeper Robert Tufisi had an embarrassing moment as he whiffed when attempting to clear a back pass from a teammate, resulting in an own goal.

It happened in the 74th minute as a Valcea defender passed the ball back to Tufisi to avoid pressure from an opposing Mioveni forward. It was an easy pass and Tufisi had no pressure while making the kick. However, the ball appeared to hit a divot in the field and bounced up at the very last minute, causing Tufisi to miss the ball completely. Tufisi made a last-gasp dive for the ball, but it was much too late.

CSM Ramnicu Valcea lost the match, 2-0, and there's not much you can do about unlucky bounces like this.
