Harry Zolnierczyk ejected for launching himself into Mike Lundin (Video)

Philadelphia Flyers forward Harry Zolnierczyk was ejected in the first period of Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators for launching himself into Senators defenseman Mike Lundin and laying him out on the ice. Lundin suffered a concussion and did not return to the game.

Zolnierczyk received a five minute major for charging and a ten minute game misconduct. It did not appear that Zolnierczyk targeted Lundin's head, but because he left his feet to deliver the hit, the play will likely be reviewed by the NHL to determine if further punishment is warranted.

In the third period, the Senators got some measure of revenge as forward Daniel Alfredsson received a game misconduct for mauling Flyers center Zac Rinaldo with his stick. However, the Flyers got the last laugh Saturday as they won the game 2-1.

UPDATE:
Zolnierczyk has been suspended four games.
