Andrea Bargnani takes 'knucklehead' shot in OT vs Bucks (Video)

New York Knicks forward Andrea Bargnani is taking some heat after making what may be one of the dumbest shots in NBA history in the first overtime period of Wednesday night's 2OT game in Milwaukee.

With under 15 seconds to play and the Knicks up by 2, the Knicks grabbed the offensive rebound and passed it out to Bargnani at the three-point line, having seemingly closed out the game. However, for some reason known only to him, Bargnani immediately put up a three-point shot.

All of the Knicks, both on and off the court, immediately put their hands up in the air as if to say "WHY?" The shot was so ill-advised that one of the Milwaukee Bucks television announcers called Bargnani a "knucklehead" for taking the shot. Naturally, Bargnani missed the shot, the Bucks grabbed the rebound and made a basket to tie the game, sending it into double overtime.

Fortunately, Bargnani's Knicks teammates bailed him out in double-overtime with some good shooting to finally close out the victory 107-101, but that shot was certainly a head-scratcher.
