Argentine soccer player knocks out ref after getting yellow card (Video)


In third division soccer action from Argentina, Ferro defender Alejandro Roncaglia knocked out referee Arnaldo Beron with one punch after being given a yellow card during the first half of a recent match against Tiro Federal.

Beron was knocked unconscious after Roncaglia struck him in the jaw, and the remainder of the match was called off as he was tended to by paramedics. Beron was brought to the hospital to receive stitches on his chin, and he returned to the hospital later on after suffering from dizziness.

No word yet as to what further discipline Roncaglia might receive for his actions.
