Tyler Myers crosschecks Tommy Wingels in the neck (Video)

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Tyler Myers was given a game misconduct for crosschecking San Jose Sharks center Tommy Wingels in the neck during Tuesday night's NHL game at the MTS Centre.

It happened at the 12:55 mark of the third period as Wingels had just checked Myers into the boards. Myers lost his composure and stepped over the line with his retaliation.


Myers received a five minute major penalty for crosschecking, which was served by a teammate while he was sent to the locker room. He can't help his team if he gets himself ejected. Myers needs to know better and control his temper.

The Sharks beat the Jets 4-1.
