Fan catches Rickie Weeks' flying bat (Video)

A fan in the stands caught the bat of Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks after the bat went flying into the stands during Friday night's game against the San Diego Padres.

It happened in the bottom of the eighth inning when Weeks lost the grip of his bat while fouling an 0-2 pitch. The fan who caught the bat was in a relaxed position with both hands behind his head when the bat flew just out of reach of the fans standing up in front of him. The bat bounced off the fan's leg and hit him in the chest when he instinctively grabbed it.

The fan appeared to be OK and enjoyed celebrating the catch of Weeks' bat and gave out some high-fives afterwards, but he had to be in a little bit of pain after being hit like that.
