Fan runs onto court to touch Kyrie Irving (Video)

An alleged fan of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving (who will now be known as "some idiot") ran onto the court at Quicken Loans Arena to give Irving a personal message during the fourth quarter of Friday night's game against Utah.

The fan ran right up to Irving and touched his arm before being quickly swarmed by security, tackled onto the floor, handcuffed and hauled away.

It was the second time this season that a fan has come out onto the floor to get close to Irving, but in this instance the fan did not seem to have a message on his T-shirt.  Irving was able to laugh about it afterwards.  However, not only is this trend becoming a little disturbing, but it's also very possible that these misguided attempts to convince Irving to stay in Cleveland (after his contract expires this summer) may ultimately backfire.

As for Irving's performance on the court, he proved his value to the team once again with a triple-double (21 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists) in the 99-79 Cavs victory over the Jazz.
