FUNNY: Phillies fans mock Craig Kimbrel's pitching stance (Video)

Philadelphia Phillies fans entertained themselves by mocking the pitching stance of Atlanta Braves reliever Craig Kimbrel during the ninth inning of Saturday's game at Citizens Bank Park.

To say that Kimbrel's stance is unusual would be a bit of an understatement, as he bends his upper body down towards the plate and spreads his arms out. In a way, it almost like he's preparing to deliver a Daniel LaRusso-style crane kick rather than a pitch. It's rather amazing that this has gone under the radar considering how the Internet tends to pick up on quirky things like this. However, it didn't get by the Phillies fans, who needed a good laugh considering their last-place finish in the National League East.

Ultimately, however, Kimbrel got the last laugh, as he managed to tune out his detractors and get the save to close out the 4-2 Braves victory. Kimbrel will finish the season with at worst a tie for the National League lead in saves with 46, so he's not about to change anything.
