A young Minnesota Twins fan was given a foul ball and threw it back onto the field during Wednesday's game at Target Field.
It happened in the top of the fifth as Twins left fielder Aaron Hicks caught the foul ball to end the inning. Hicks gave the foul ball to the young fan, who didn't understand that the ball was his to keep.
The boy's mother didn't stop him, apparently not realizing what he was about to do. Her shocked reaction after watching her son throw it back is priceless:
The mom tried to console her son afterwards. A tough lesson learned. Poor kid.
