Ben Bishop headbutts Rick Nash in the groin (Video)

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop delivered a heatbutt to the groin of New York Rangers left winger Rick Nash during the final minute of the second period in Wednesday night's game at Amalie Arena.

Nash was setting up in front of the net on a Rangers power play, and Bishop didn't particularly care for Nash being right on top of him, so he sent him a message accordingly.



Bishop was not called for a penalty on the play. So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen: Headbutts to the groin are legal in the NHL.
