Andrew Shaw ejected for head butt against Islanders (Video)

Chicago Blackhawks center Andrew Shaw was ejected from Tuesday night's game against the New York Islanders for giving a head butt to center Brock Nelson during the second period.

Nelson had just cross-checked Shaw into the boards in the Islanders defensive zone when Shaw retaliated by putting his head down and ramming Nelson in the face. After play was stopped at the 5:30 mark of the second, Shaw was given a five-minute major for headbutting and a 10-minute game misconduct, leading to his exit from the game.

The Blackhawks weren't impacted by Shaw's absence, as Toews carried the load with 2 goals and 2 assists to lead them to a 4-1 victory over the Isles.
