Tyler Collins flips off Tigers fans for booing him after misplayed fly ball (Video)

Detroit Tigers center fielder Tyler Collins will have trouble earning back support of the home fans after flipping them off during Monday night's game against Oakland.

In the sixth inning, Collins lost a fly ball in the lights and the ball dropped about five feet in front of him. The miscue gave A's batter Marcus Semien a double, and he ended up reaching third when left fielder Justin Upton mishandled the ball. The boo birds came out, and Collins took it a bit too personally:

After the game, it was clear that Collins regretted his actions:
"It was frustration...I should be more mature and more grown up than that to be able to deal with it, and that's where I apologize."

It's a shame, because the incident overshadowed a 7-3 win by the Tigers which broke a 4-game losing streak. We'll see where things go from here.
