Aaron Judge chips tooth during walk-off celebration (Video)

New York Yankees rookie superstar Aaron Judge chipped his tooth on teammate Brett Gardner's helmet during the walk-off celebration that followed Thursday night's 6-5 extra-inning win over Tampa Bay.

In the bottom of the 11th, Gardner broke the tie with a solo home run to right field to gave the Yanks the victory over the Rays. Gardner's teammates, including Judge, swarmed him at home plate to celebrate. In the midst of the jubilation, Gardner threw his batting helmet on the ground, but somehow it popped up and hit Judge right in the mouth.

YES reporter Meredith Marakovits confirmed that Judge's tooth was chipped, but he would be available to play in Friday's game against the Rays.

Yankees head of security Eddie Fastook searched near home plate for the chipped tooth after the game, but his search appeared to be unsuccessful. Something tells us the Yankees dental plan will have this covered and Judge will be fine.

H/T FTW.
