Aleksander Barkov scores amazing goal with between-the-legs shot

Aleksander Barkov shoots between the legs for amazing goal vs Montreal

Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov made his case for goal of the year with an incredible shot between his legs for the game-winning goal during Sunday's game against Montreal.

It happened in the second period as the Canadiens misplayed the puck at center ice. The Panthers deflected the puck and Barkov picked it up and made a rush for the net. The Canadiens defense was caught out of position, leading to a breakaway against goaltender Carey Price. At full speed with defender Victor Mete right behind him, Barkov crossed in front of price, then pulled the puck back between his legs and shot backhanded into the upper corner of the net.

Even Price seemed to appreciate Barkov's tremendous skill as he watched the replay on the jumbotron above the ice.

Barkov was the clear star of the game, as he finished with a hat trick as the Panthers beat the Canadiens 6-3.
