Jordan Martinook fights Evander Holyfield during Carolina Hurricanes victory celebration

Former heavyweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield knocked out left winger Jordan Martinook during the Carolina Hurricanes victory celebration following Friday night's 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues.

The Hurricanes gathered in a circle at center ice to celebrate with their fans, which they have turned into a tradition following home wins. Martinook put on some boxing gloves, and then the lights went down for Holyfield to make his big entrance. Holyfield wore a custom Hurricanes jersey with the number "4X", marking the four times he won the heavyweight championship boxing title.

Martinook didn't have a chance. He tried to trade jabs, but Holyfield landed an uppercut, and Martinook went down for the count.

Martinook stayed down on the ice, leaving his Hurricanes teammates to drag him off by his feet. It's all part of the fun for the "Bunch of Jerks".

The Hurricanes have now won four straight and 12 of their last 15 games.
