Kyle Schwarber's foul tip bounces into his groin

Kyle Schwarber takes foul tip to the groin 9/9/2019

Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber had a painful moment during Monday night's game against San Diego when he tipped a foul ball that bounced into his groin.

It happened in the top of the sixth inning with the Cubs holding an 8-2 lead. Schwarber took a big swing at a 3-2 pitch and made contact, but the ball went straight down and took an unfortunate bounce.

It was clearly painful, but not only was Schwarber able to stay in the game, but he singled in the at-bat and came around to score. Who says baseball players aren't tough?

Schwarber finished 2-for-5 with a home run as the Cubs beat the Padres 10-2.
