Gabriel Landeskog accidentally scores own goal in overtime vs Penguins

Gabriel Landeskog scores own goal in OT vs Penguins 10/16/2019

Colorado Avalanche left winger Gabriel Landeskog probably didn't sleep too well after Wednesday night's loss in Pittsburgh after accidentally knocking the puck into his own net in overtime.

Landsekog scrambled back to the Avs net to help out on defense during a Penguins breakaway. Penguins left winger Brandon Tanev took a shot from the left side of the net that went past goaltender Matt Murray, but hit the stick of Landeskog in the blue paint and started spinning towards the net. Landeskog tried desparately to knock the puck away, but couldn't stop it in time.

Landseskog smashed his stick in half on the goalpost in frustration. This one has to hurt.

Tanev was credited with the game-winner as the Penguins earned the 3-2 victory.
