Washington Capitals right winger Tom Wilson destroyed Buffalo Sabres left winger Johan Larsson during Friday night's game at the Capital One Arena.
It happened in the third period as the Capitals were trying to clear the puck from their zone. Larsson got to the puck first and knocked it to a teammate as Wilson lowered the boom and knocked him on his back.
Both men were able to get up right away and continue playing.
Wilson had an impressive performance with a goal and two assists, along with five hits, as the Capitals blew out the Sabres 6-1.
