Own goal alert: Sporting KC goaltender John Pulskamp vs. Minnesota United FC

In MLS action, Sporting KC goaltender John Pulskamp was credited with an own goal during Wednesday night's match against Minnesota United FC.

In the 43rd minute, Minnesota United defender Kemar Lawrence delivered a cross that Pulskamp dove for but was unable to stop. With Pulskamp on the ground, Sporting KC defender Andreu Fontàs attempted to clear, but kicked the ball into Pulskamp and the ball deflected into the goal.

Pulskamp gets credit for the own goal as he was the last person to touch it, but in reality, Fontàs would be more "deserving" in this case.

Ultimately, Pulskamp kept Sporting KC in the game with four saves as Johnny Russell scored a second half goal to allow them to salvage a 1-1 draw.
