Jordan Spieth chastises himself for bad shot at PGA Championship (Video)

Jordan Spieth scolds himself after bad iron shot, PGA Championship, 5/20/2023
American pro golfer Jordan Spieth was seen scolding himself for a poor iron shot during Saturday's third round of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club.

It happened on the 3rd hole as Spieth was trying to hit a straight shot with his iron. As soon as he hit it, Spieth knew that it wasn't as good as he wanted to be, and he immediately began shouting at himself.

"Damnit...hit one good ***** iron shot."

Credit goes to the CBS censors for being on their game and not letting that last word slip through to viewers.

The funniest part of this clip was the announcers keeping it cool while describing the outburst:

"Hmm...I don't think he liked that one."

"No, that was not his best...as you could hear."

Plenty of players are frustrated this weekend at the PGA Championship, including Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Taylor Moore, to name a few, so Spieth is not alone.

Spieth scored a bogey on the hole and went on to finish the round at 1-over par. After three rounds, Spieth is tied for 43rd at 6-over for the tournament, 12 shots behind the leaders. Although unlikely to pull back into contention, hopefully he can make the most of Sunday's round and take away something positive.
