Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond was given a technical foul for his gun celebration after hitting a 3-pointer during Sunday's game in Boston.
It happened with under two minutes remaining in the second quarter. Drummond hit a 22-foot three-pointer from the corner to cut the Celtics lead to 54-45, after which he pointed his hand like a gun and pretended to fire it. Nick Buchert, the chief of the officiating crew, made the technical foul call on Drummond.

Jaylen Brown made the technical free throw to extend the Celtics lead to 55-45.
The precendent has been set in the NBA and other sports that gun celebrations will be penalized. Ja Morant has ruined his reputation by his obsession with guns. Drummond has to know better, especially with the Sixers down in the game by a large margin.
Drummond finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, but the Celtics proved themselves to be the better team on Sunday as they won the game 114-98.
