Rays outfielder Desmond Jennings turns unassisted double play (Video)

It's rare to see a major league outfielder turn an unassisted double play, but that's exactly what Tampa Bay Rays center fielder Desmond Jennings did Saturday, with help from some poor baserunning by the Oakland A's.

It happened in the top of the third with one out and A's runner Eric Sogard on first base. A's batter Coco Crisp hit the fly ball to Jennings, who caught the ball for the second out. However, since Sogard ran all the way to third base on the fly, Jennings was able to jog to first base for the easy putout and head straight into the dugout with the inning over.

That's an inexcusable mistake by Sogard right there, and you have to wonder what he was thinking about.
