LeBron James makes case for MVP with career-high 61 points (Video)

Miami Heat superstar LeBron James scoring a career-high (and franchise high) 61 points in Monday night's 124-107 victory over Charlotte. LeBron shot 22-of-33 from the field, including 8-for-10 from 3-point range and 9-for-12 from the free throw line.

Looks like LeBron is not ready to concede the MVP award to Kevin Durant without a fight.

Interestingly enough, the Bobcats also allowed Carmelo Anthony to score a career high of 62 points against them back in January. It might be time for the Bobcats to change up their defensive scheme, as it doesn't seem to be working.
