Tony Wroten loses sole as bottom of shoe falls off (Video)

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tony Wroten lost the bottom of his shoe while dribbling near the basket during the fourth quarter of Friday night's game against Indiana.

It happened in the fourth quarter as Wroten was trying to make a move on Pacers forward Evan Turner.  The blowout in his shoe forced Wroten to pass the ball away.  After a timeout a few seconds later, Wroten took off the shoe, then headed to the locker room so an equipment manager could give him a new pair.

Wroten has enough trouble finishing off plays, and now he has to worry about his shoe exploding.

This is the third time in the past few weeks that an NBA player's shoe has fallen apart in the middle of the game, and is becoming a very disturbing trend.  The makers of these shoes need to be publicly shamed so that they can figure out why the shoes are falling apart and fix the problem.  Commissioner Adam Silver should start looking into this before a player becomes seriously hurt.
