The Montreal Canadiens took advantage of a miscue on a New York Rangers power play and turned it into a 2-on-0 breakaway, scoring a shorthanded goal in the first period of Saturday night's game at the Bell Centre.
Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty were able to pass back and forth all the way down the ice until Plekanec put it in the net for the easy goal.
The Canadiens beat the Rangers 3-1.
