Tony Allen misses four layups in one offensive sequence (Video)

Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Tony Allen had an extremely embarrassing offensive sequence where he missed four layups during the second quarter of Friday night's game against Los Angeles.

Let's recap the misses:
  • Allen steals the pass and dribbles down the court all by himself, but his layup attempt gets blocked by the rim.
  • Allen gets his own rebound on the miss, dribbles around a Laker defender, and puts up a brick.
  • The ball gets saved from going out of bounds and tipped to Allen, whose third shot is blocked.
  • After the block, the ball bounces off the backboard to Allen again.  His last shot bounces around the rim but fails to drop.
It was that kind of game for Allen as he only scored 5 points, but the Grizzlies overcame his struggles as they beat the Lakers 109-106.
