Nashville Predators center Filip Forsberg scored a goal for the highlight reel with his lacrosse-style move during Tuesday night's game at Edmonton.
It happened in the first period as Forsberg took control of the puck after a face-off in the Oilers zone. As Forsberg skated behind the net with the puck, he put his blade underneath the puck, picked it up and wrapped his stick around the goalpost, sneaking the puck past goaltender Mike Smith and into the net.
Forsberg made it look so easy, but it's only recently that this style of scoring is becoming a trend.
Unfortunately, Forsberg's goal wasn't enough to propel the Predators to victory, as the Oilers won the game 4-2.
