Aaron Rodgers loses it after throwing third interception vs. Lions (Video)

Aaron Rodgers loses temper after third interception, Packers vs. Lions, 11/6/2022
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a temper tantrum after throwing his third interception during Sunday's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.

It happened with over 11 minutes remaining in the third quarter and the Lions holding an 8-0 lead. On 2nd-and-9 on the Lions 22-yard line, Rodgers threw a deep pass in the middle of the field intended for tight end Robert Tonyan that was intercepted by Kerby Joseph. It was Joseph's second interception of the game.

This came after a first half in which Rodgers squandered two golden scoring opportunities by throwing interceptions inside the 5-yard line with goal to go. At this point, Rodgers could no longer control his frustration, as FOX cameras captured him screaming to himself after throwing the pick.

This is something that Packers fans are not used to seeing, as Rodgers is known to be calm, cool and collective. After all, it was Rodgers who famously told panicky Packers fans to relax a few years back. Unfortunately for the Packers, the loss to the Lions extends their losing streak to five games, with the Vikings extending their lead over Green Bay in the NFC North to five games in the loss column. At this point, it is becoming more and more difficult for Packers fans to take away anything positive from what they are seeing on the field.

Will Rodgers and the Packers be able to turn things around? That will be a challenge, as the upcoming games on the schedule are the Cowboys, Titans, and Eagles, who have all had strong first halves to their seasons. Rodgers might want to cool off with a grape Crush soda while he contemplates what the future holds.
